Summer Schools

Summer schools are an amazing opportunity for young scientists to learn new methods, acquire more knowledge, build a network in science, discuss ideas and problems with both other young scientists and experienced researchers.

Since applied research such as the development of therapeutic strategies for IRDs is a complex matter involving many specialities that can make it difficult for young scientists to keep track on novel developments and technologies for overviewieng the reserach field, one summer school per year will be organized.

The summer school will each year focus on a different thematic focus, always present at the site where the school will be held.

The last Summer School of the SPP 2127 was held in Giessen on the topic of 'in vivo genome editing'.
